About Matt

Matt B. King is an attorney at The Pearce Law Group, P.C., joining in 2024. A native of Myrtle Beach, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of South Carolina in 2002 and his Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law in 2020, graduating Cum Laude. He was a Presidential Scholar, Legal Writing Fellow, Library Research Fellow, and received four CALI Excellence for the Future Awards. He was also a member of Phi Delta Phi and recognized for Outstanding Pro Bono Service.
