About Matthew

Attorney Matthew A. Glassman was born in Queens, New York and raised on Long Island and Miami, Florida. He earned a B.A. degree in English Literature from the University of Florida and a J.D. from Southwest University School of Law. He began his legal career in 1984 as a litigator focusing on asbestos litigation in Northern New Jersey. In 1988, he established his practice in Port Jefferson, NY, serving injured individuals across Long Island, Suffolk County, Nassau County, Queens County, and the broader New York City area. He has over two decades of experience protecting clients' rights in personal injury cases, including auto accidents, workplace accidents, medical malpractice, and animal bites. He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
