Matthew S. Abdo, son of Cy Matthew Abdo, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2010. He joined his father to re-found Abdo Law Firm, making it a top criminal defense firm in Michigan. Matthew was recognized as one of the youngest lawyers to earn AVVO’s Superb rating and a Super Lawyer designation. He specialized in criminal law, handling nearly 5,000 appearances in under 10 years, covering DUI, drug crimes, assault, CSC, theft, and more. He also led the firm's driver's license practice, achieving a 90% win rate for DLAD cases. Matthew passed away in 2022, but his business model of empathy and client focus continues at the firm.
