Michigan criminal defense lawyer Maurice Davis is driven by a desire to help people in his city who have been wrongfully accused and are facing criminal charges. He attended Michigan State University for his political science degree and earned his Juris Doctor degree at Florida State University. Prior to opening his criminal defense practice, he worked as an assistant state’s attorney in Macon County, Illinois, gaining experience in jury trials, bench trials, plea negotiations, and arguing motions. He also has experience as a public defender and in private personal injury practice. Maurice returned to Detroit to open his law practice, focusing on providing excellent communication and zealous advocacy for his clients.
