About Maya

Maya Grace Slaughter focuses on legal services for indigent clients through the Criminal Practice Clinic at USC. She previously worked as an elementary school teacher for Teach for America, a family service coordinator, and held roles in political communications and policy development. She earned a CALI award and Best Oralist award during her law studies at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
