While in law school, Melissa served as an editor for the Saint Louis University Law Journal, Treasurer of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, and was a faculty fellow. She also actively participated in SLU’s legal clinic, where she assisted clients through the Catholic Legal Assistance Ministry. During that time, Melissa was recognized as a David Grant Clinic Student Award Finalist for dedication and commitment to the representation of clinic clients.
