About Met

Met Lane was born and raised in Carrollton, Georgia. He graduated from Furman University with a B.A. and received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was on Moot Court. He served as an Assistant District Attorney for Georgia’s Coweta Judicial Circuit from 2002 to 2005. Before starting his law firm in 2021, he was a partner in Carrollton for 16 years. With over 20 years of experience, Met handles personal injury, family law, contract disputes, estate & trust disputes, and criminal cases. He is admitted to the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court. Met has been highly active in serving his community, including serving on the Carrollton City Council and with organizations such as Carrollton Rotary, Habitat for Humanity, and CASA.
