Michael Barrett

Michael Barrett grew up in Charleston, attended Porter-Gaud School, and graduated from The Citadel in 1997. He served six years on Active Duty in the Army as an Infantry Officer before joining the South Carolina Army National Guard and attending Charleston School of Law, graduating in 2008. He retired from the Army Reserves in May 2021 after 23 years of service. He began practicing law in 2016, focusing on criminal defense, particularly DUIs.
