Mr. Berman is a former Assistant State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County. During his time as a prosecutor, he handled thousands of criminal matters including but not limited to domestic violence, DUIs, thefts, and drug offenses. Mr. Berman started on the District Court team before being promoted to Circuit Court, and ultimately to the Auto-Manslaughter Trial Team. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law with a Concentration in Litigation and Advocacy. He was a member of the Royal Shannonhouse Honor Society, served as a Research Assistant for Professor J. Amy Dillard, and was a Peer Advisor to his fellow students. Mr. Berman also worked as a Certified Mediator for the Health Advocacy Unit in the Office of the Attorney General.
