Michael David Bland is a founding partner of Weaver, Bennett & Bland, P.A. and an aggressive seasoned trial lawyer with forty years of experience. He has tried countless jury and bench trials and holds four record verdicts in North Carolina. He has successfully argued numerous appellate cases, including before the U.S. Supreme Court. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including medical malpractice, personal injury, and business litigation. He is also the founder of Sustainable Energy Community Development Company (S.E.C.D.C.) and has served multiple terms on the Board of Commissioners for the Town of Matthews.
