About Michael
Michael J. O'Rear was born and raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in 2009. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and was admitted to the Oklahoma bar that same year. Following graduation, Mr. O'Rear worked as an oil and gas attorney before accepting a position a with civil litigation law firm, Wiggins, Sewell & Ogletree. In 2016, Mr. O'Rear joined Martin Jean and Jackson and shifted his practice to focus solely on representing the rights of injured Oklahomans. He is licensed to practice before all Oklahoma state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Payne County Bar Association. Other memberships include the American Association for Justice and the Oklahoma Association for Justice. Mr. O'Rear resides in Stillwater with his wife, Elizabeth, their daughters, Caroline and Ellie Hope, and son, James.
