About Michelle

Michelle Kavanaugh joined Spesia & Taylor as a Law Clerk in May of 2022 and as an Associate Attorney in November of 2023. Michelle earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois -Chicago School of Law, magna cum laude, in May of 2023. She was a member of the UIC Law Review and worked on the Executive Board as a Lead Articles Editor. Michelle also earned a bachelor’s degree in social work at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, personal injury, contract litigation, and municipal law. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Will County Bar Association, Will County Women’s Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association.
