About Miguel

Miguel Chapa was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in a ranching community along the Texas-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley. He received his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1999. Miguel began his legal career as a briefing attorney for United States District Court Judge Filemon B. Vela. Soon after, he opened his personal injury practice representing clients all over the United States in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases and has continually excelled at trial and in settling cases since. Miguel has litigated against some of the largest corporations in the world and has recovered over $100,000,000 for his clients throughout his career. A proud Hispanic, Miguel also speaks Spanish with fluency.
