About Monica

I was born in Flushing, Queens to Colombian and Cuban parents. I attended law school in Virginia after staying home to raise my three children. I have been defending civil liability matters for over 7 years. In addition to assisting my clients, I serve on the International Human Rights Committee of the Texas State Bar and lend a hand to assist friends working on various human rights initiatives. I enjoy traveling with my family, coaxing my chickens to lay eggs, pretending to be a gardener, and baking high-calorie desserts to force feed my husband.
