About Ms.
Ms. Mahilani E.K. Hiatt graduated from William S. Richardson School of Law in 1993. She began her legal career in complex civil litigation, later serving as a Human Resources Administrator and then joining Hiatt & Hiatt as a partner in 2010. She has represented clients in employment, labor, medical malpractice, personal injury, construction, real property, and partnership disputes. Ms. Hiatt was appointed as a per diem Judge and later a District Family Court Judge in the Third Circuit, State of Hawaiʻi, presiding over family and district court calendars and over 350 trials. She has also served as a Foreclosure Commissioner and arbitrator.
