About Nathan

Nathan D. Richter was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and graduated from Mustang High School (1996), the University of Oklahoma (BS 2000), and Oklahoma City University School of Law (JD 2007). Before his legal career, he was a geneticist and served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, deploying to Afghanistan in 2003 and receiving the Joint Forces Commendation Medal. He co-founded and serves as Chief Legal Officer of Nature’s Key, and was CEO from 2020-2023. Nathan is a trial lawyer specializing in civil litigation, including cannabis industry matters, complex commercial matters, and product liability actions. He is a former President of the Canadian County Bar Association (2012), Chairperson of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division, Oklahoma Bar Association Board of Governors, and an Oklahoma Bar Foundation Board Member. He volunteers with Trinity Legal Clinic, Youth & Family Services of El Reno (former President and board member), and Lawyers for Heroes. He is married to Kristin and has two children.
