Patrick Emmanuel was a firm namesake, born in 1920, who served in the U.S. Army during WWII, earning a Bronze Star. He concentrated his legal practice in real estate, corporate, banking, healthcare law, construction law, wills and estates, and business litigation. He served as Florida Bar President from 1985-1986 and was awarded The Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award in 1987 and the Florida Bar Foundation's Medal of Honor in 2001. He retired in 2014 at age 94.
