Paul O’Connor is an accomplished partner known for his many highly visible successes in plaintiff medical malpractice cases and personal injury law. He has represented plaintiffs in cases across the spectrum, from negligence-caused birth related injuries to wrongful death. He was co-counsel on the largest wrongful birth case in New Jersey's history ($28 million verdict) and secured a $10.5 million verdict for failure to diagnose skin cancer, a $7 million verdict for failure to diagnose liver cancer, and a $20 million settlement for magnesium sulfate overdose. He also achieved an $8 million settlement in Alabama for a prenatal testing facility's failure to disclose a genetic defect and a $5 million settlement in Los Angeles for medical groups failing to treat a patient. He is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, past president of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ), and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
