Pete Rutter

Pete Rutter is an attorney who, when not practicing law, can be found at his farm outside of Mexia, Texas, raising longhorn cattle, chickens, and other critters with his son, Thomas, and a herd of dogs. He is a former Baylor University football player, earning All-SWC honors for three consecutive years and honorable mention All-American honors, later signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He graduated with a BBA from Baylor and earned his law degree from Tulsa College of Law, starting his legal practice in Tyler, Texas, with a focus on litigation and trial defense.
