About Peter

Mr. Higgins is an accomplished personal injury and FELA lawyer who, in his many years of practice, has negotiated large settlements and tried multiple complex personal injury cases to jury verdict. He gained valuable experience trying personal injury cases at two major Chicago law firms, representing construction companies, railroads, product manufacturers, and individuals with catastrophic injuries. Since starting his own practice in 1995, he has focused on representing railroad and construction workers, victims of automobile and slip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse. He has achieved significant case results, including multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts.
