Phil Hoon

About Phil

Philip W. Hoon was born in December, 1953 in Chestertown, Maryland. He graduated from Duke University in 1976 with a BA in history and economics and received a JD degree from University of Maryland School of Law, admitted to practice in 1980. He is the founding managing member of Hoon & Associates, LLC. He has served on various boards including Kent County Historical Society, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Gunston Day School, Preservation Maryland, and The Chesapeake Bank & Trust Company. He is a former President of the Kent County Bar Association. Mr. Hoon manages Thornton Estate, a family farm in Kent County.
