Phil Spitalny

Phil Spitalny was born and raised in Chattanooga. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in Political Science and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia Law School in 2013, graduating cum laude. He interned for a Federal Magistrate Judge in Chattanooga’s Federal Courthouse and began representing clients in 2014 at the Whitfield County Public Defender’s Office. In 2019, he was promoted to Senior Attorney in the Catoosa County Public Defender’s Office.
