Philip DeBerard, III

Philip Edwin DeBerard III was born in Gainesville, FL on Nov. 7, 1950. He grew up on Key Biscayne and had a passion for the ocean. He was a star athlete at Coral Gables High School, playing center on the varsity football team that FHSAA later named 'Team of the Century.' He attended the University of Florida for undergrad on an athletic scholarship for wrestling and then went on to University of Florida law school. He served his country in the Marine Corps.
