Rebecca Cozart

Attorney Rebecca Hopper Cozart’s life began in rural Illinois, where she was born and raised before attending school at Campbell University for her Bachelors of Arts in English. She then went on to earn her law degree from North Carolina Central University’s School of Law. In 1997, Rebecca was certified by the North Carolina Bar and began practicing law as an ADA. She later joined The Public Defender’s Office in South Carolina. Rebecca’s husband, the late-John Cozart, served as U.S. Marine Corp and was a veteran of Desert Storm.
