About Reese
Reese Neely, born and raised in New Albany, Mississippi, graduated third in her class from New Albany High School in 2015. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Mississippi, where she was also a Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College Scholar. She received her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2022, finishing top of her class. During law school, she was a member and vice-chair of the Moot Court Board, editor-in-chief of The Advocate yearbook, and participated in the pro-bono initiative. She was sworn in for limited practice in Mississippi State and Federal Courts and participated in the Roderick & Solange MacArthur Justice Clinic. After passing the Mississippi Bar Examination in September 2022, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Mississippi Supreme Court.
