Richard L. Root

Rick is a proud graduate of the University of Florida and a loyal Gator. He was awarded a Bachelor’s degree in his major, Political Science with an emphasis in Public Administration, also receiving a Minor in Environmental Studies. Upon graduation Rick worked in Court Administration in the Benton-Franklin Superior Court system in Washington State. Later he was employed in the Nuclear Power Industry, leading to his return to New Orleans in 1982 to work at the Waterford III Nuclear facility in Taft, Louisiana.
