About Robert
Robert Childs, III is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and finance from the University of South Carolina and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in 1983. Admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1984, he has served as Public Defender for Aiken County, Assistant Solicitor for the 13th Judicial Circuit, Greenville County Attorney, and Deputy Solicitor for the 13th Judicial Circuit. He currently serves as City Attorney for Travelers Rest. Since 1992, he has been in private practice focusing on Personal Injury and Criminal Defense. He is also a certified Circuit Court Mediator with over 1,000 mediations experience.
