About Robert

Robert J. Ounjian obtained his law degree from Southwestern Law School in 2000. He joined Carpenter & Zuckerman, LLP in 2009 and was promoted to partner in 2013. His practice focuses on general liability and medical malpractice, with an emphasis on birth injuries. He has handled numerous jury trials and arbitrations, including a $74.525 million verdict in a medical malpractice birth injury case, and has recovered over $350 million for clients. He has been selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2012-2015) and Super Lawyers list (2016-2022). He serves on the Board of Directors at Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities (LATLC) and was elected to the Board of Governors for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) in 2015.
