About Roger

Roger Schafer earned a business degree from Pennsylvania State University and a magna cum laude law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He practiced business law and defended injury claims in Pittsburgh before relocating to Virginia Beach. He served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Virginia Beach and established his own practice in 1989. For the past twenty years, Roger has focused almost exclusively on handling personal injury cases. He joined Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers in late 2024.
