Russ Baldani is the senior partner at Baldani Law Group, with over thirty years of experience representing individuals accused of crimes in state and federal courts of Kentucky. He started as a public defender at Fayette County Legal Aid, gaining extensive trial experience. Notable cases include Commonwealth v. LaFonda Fay Foster, where he secured a life sentence after a death penalty recommendation, and the Carrollton Bus Crash case, where he represented Larry Mahoney and achieved a lesser sentence by highlighting the bus manufacturer's fault. He also successfully defended William Jerry Hadden in a federal 'harboring aliens' case, resulting in acquittal. Russ focuses almost exclusively on criminal defense, handling cases in juvenile, district, circuit, and federal courts, including appeals. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a lifetime member and past president of the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (KACDL).
