Scott joined the predecessor of McRae, Smith, Peek, Harman & Monroe, LLP in 1989 upon graduating from Mercer Law School. He initially practiced in the area of litigation with the focus on insurance defense, but in 1992 had an opportunity to practice in the areas of real estate and business law.
