About Scott
Scott Mongillo, an Eagle Scout, graduated from The Citadel in 1992 with a double major in political science and history. He served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, earning the National Service Defense Medal and a Navy Achievement Medal, and was honorably discharged as a Captain in 2001. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina, School of Law in 1999. Scott served as Associate General Counsel for Collins Entertainment Corp. and later founded his own firm, Scott M. Mongillo, Attorney at Law, LLC, becoming General Corporate Counsel for Collins. He participated in significant trials and appeals, including a case where his client collected over $20,000,000.00. Scott joined Bland Richter, LLP in July 2013. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
