Seattle attorney Shane Carew has practiced law for more than 40 years, trying cases to juries, the bench, and arbitrators, and recovering tens of millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. He maintains a broad practice in admiralty and maritime matters, including wrongful death, personal injury to officers and crew, collisions, salvage, and Coast Guard license defense. In recent years, he has also focused on plaintiff legal malpractice. Licensed in Washington and Alaska, he has tried cases in state and federal courts in both states and has a successful appellate record with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
