About Shane

Attorney Shane Davis works tirelessly to learn every nuanced detail of a client's case. He works closely with a team of dedicated and skilled legal staff to give his clients the best likelihood of success-both in settlement negotiations and at trial. Licensed to practice in all Oregon state and federal courts, Shane has successfully represented hundreds of clients, achieving justice for those injured in car crashes, pedestrian and cyclist collisions, trucking crashes, premises liability claims, and wrongful death. Shane is experienced in complex civil litigation, handling matters involving medical malpractice, dangerously defective products, and automotive crashworthiness. A member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and elected by his peers to the Lane County Bar Association Board of Directors, Shane is actively engaged in the Oregon legal community. He serves on the Lane County Law Library Advisory Committee and is a contributing author and editor of the Oregon State Bar Professional Liability Fund's biennial publication entitled Oregon Statutory Time Limitations. Shane received his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, graduating with Pro Bono Honors for his work in the community. In law school, Shane was a member of the Moot Court Board and a two-time national moot court finalist. Prior to joining JJL&M, Shane worked as a law clerk for the Trial Division of the Oregon Department of Justice. He also completed an externship in United States District Court with the Honorable Mustafa T. Kasubhai. Shane received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, dual majoring in economics and political science. Before law school, he worked as a business development analyst for a Nevada-based renewable energy company. Outside of the office, Shane spends his free time running, hiking and, playing chess.
