About Shaun

Shaun F. Owens is a partner at SBWD Law, serving as General Counsel for numerous Police Unions across Southern Maryland. He handles criminal, civil, appellate, and administrative litigation, including juvenile matters, peace and protective orders, consumer disputes, and estate planning. Recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2014-2019, Shaun has extensive trial experience, having handled over a thousand cases. His background includes a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and teaching constitutional law to high school students.
