About Shawn
Shawn M. O'Neil is an experienced trial attorney and managing member of O'Neil Law LLC. He has been practicing law and trying cases since 1991, representing individuals and small businesses throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. He has successfully represented clients in civil litigation in both state and federal court. Shawn is adept at negotiating settlements and is prepared to take cases to trial when necessary. He has mentored less-experienced attorneys and served as an instructor for the Oregon Department of Justice's Trial Academy and the Conference of Western Attorney Generals. His career includes roles as a Deputy District Attorney, a partner at Mitchell, Lang & Smith, Senior Assistant Attorney General, and Attorney In Charge of the Civil Litigation Section at the Oregon Department of Justice. He also led SAIF Corporation's Third Party Team, securing significant reimbursements. Shawn is admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington State Bars, U.S. District Court (Oregon), and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
