About Shelley
Shelley Stangler has practiced law for over 40 years. She began her career as a litigator for the City of New York in its civil torts division, handling multiple jury trials. She later became a partner at Bloom Borenstein Hess and Stangler, and managing attorney at Jacoby & Meyers for 10 years before opening her own practice. In 2022, she became Of Counsel to Starr Gern Davison & Rubins PC and now serves as Of Counsel to The Maglione Firm. Ms. Stangler handles complex cases against the government, including police, corrections, schools, and other agencies, as well as serious personal injury, death, employment discrimination, and special education matters. She has achieved notable victories in high-profile cases, including multimillion-dollar personal injury, product liability, and civil rights cases. She has appeared in all Superior, Appellate, and Administrative courts in New Jersey, including the Third Circuit, where she successfully argued a precedent-setting case.
