Sostenes Mireles II is the founder and principal of Sostenes Mireles II, PLLC, with offices in Del Rio and San Antonio, Texas. He specializes in federal and state criminal defense, including federal criminal charges and complex family law and divorce litigation. Mr. Mireles has over 20 years of legal experience, with 17 years in Federal Court. He earned a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a JD from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2003. Admitted to practice in Texas in 2003, he previously served as an assistant district attorney. He has extensive trial experience, acting as first chair in numerous federal and state criminal jury trials and over 100 civil and criminal bench trials. He is a member of the Val Verde County Bar Association and a former president of the Federal Bar Association. He was recognized as a "Texas Rising Star" by Super Lawyers in 2018. He is fluent in Spanish.
