Stanton A. Hazlett

About Stanton

Stan Hazlett graduated from Kansas University in 1974, and Washburn University Law School in 1977. He engaged in a small firm general practice until 1986. In 1986, he accepted a position in The Office of the Disciplinary Administrator as a Deputy. That office investigates and prosecutes ethical complaints against Kansas attorneys. In 1997, the Kansas Supreme Court appointed Hazlett to the position of Disciplinary Administrator. He retired from that job in 2021. Hazlett is presently Of Counsel to the firm of Stevens & Brand in Lawrence, handling attorney discipline and admission cases.
