About Star
Star Wagner joined Petruccelli, Martin & Haddow in 2020. Her practice concentrates on civil defense litigation in matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, and professional negligence. She handles a variety of civil matters including boundary disputes, business and commercial law, insurance, and condominium law. Star is admitted to practice in all Maine state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Maine and also serves as a panel member on the Maine Medical Malpractice Screening Panel. Star has successfully obtained defense verdicts, favorable dispositive motions, and has proven herself to be an effective negotiator, consistently obtaining satisfactory results through both formal and informal dispute resolution methods. Prior to practicing, Star earned an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Husson University, followed by a law degree from the University of Maine School of Law. As a law student, she completed internships at the Federal Defender’s Office, local criminal defense firms, and Kids Legal at Pine Tree Legal Assistance. She also served a year as a student attorney in the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. Star currently resides in South Portland, Maine with her husband and two children.
