Stephan V. Futeral

Stephan Futeral has deep ties to the local community, having lived and worked in the Lowcountry for over 50 years. He grew up in West Ashley, attended high school and college in downtown Charleston, worked on oyster boats, and has lived in Mt. Pleasant for over 30 years. He and his wife Kelsey Gilmore-Futeral are animal lovers, taking their registered pet therapy dogs to visit the elderly, disabled, and special-needs children, and volunteering at the Charleston Animal Society and for Keepers of the Wild.
