About Stephen

Stephen C. Brown is the firm founder attorney at BrownLaw, PLLC. He was raised in Maynard, Massachusetts, and attended Northeastern University and the University of Montana before earning his J.D. from California Western School of Law. He began his career with the North Carolina Public Defenders Office and later worked for the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office. He opened his own practice in 1991, focusing on criminal defense, DWI, personal injury, workers’ compensation, disability law, and general civil defense. He is admitted to the bars of New Hampshire and North Carolina, as well as the U.S. District Court, District of New Hampshire.
