Stephen Halfhill specializes in business, security, commodity and regulatory law, domestic relations, traffic/criminal matters, and general litigation. He earned his J.D. from West Virginia University in 1974 and served as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He later held positions as Assistant Director and Special Counsel at the Commodity Future Trading Commission. Mr. Halfhill has been in private practice since 1981 and is licensed in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and West Virginia, with extensive experience in federal litigation and appellate practice.
