About Stephen

Stephen T. Hegedus was born in Charlotte and raised in Mount Holly. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a Minor in German from Appalachian State University in 2009 and his Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law in 2013. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in April 2014 and opened his own law office in Mount Holly. He was a founding member of the Elon Law Pro Bono Board, interned with Legal Aid of North Carolina, and externed with the Alamance County District Attorney’s Office. Stephen is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is a member of both the Gaston County Bar and North Carolina State Bar Association. He is active with the Charlotte Pride Band, Mount Holly Rotary Club, and the YMCA.
