Steve received an Electrical Engineering degree (with Highest Distinction) and a Juris Doctorate (with Highest Distinction and the Order of Coif award) from the University of Iowa. He thereafter served as Law Clerk to Federal District Judge William T. Beeks for 2 years upon graduation from law school.
