About Steven

Steven Atkinson was born in Rexburg, Idaho, and grew up in St. Anthony, Idaho. He graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2011 with a B.A. in English. He served a mission in Santiago, Chile, from 2006-2008. He attended law school in Moscow, Idaho, graduating in 2016. During law school, he was on Law Review and won the Best Brief award at the Duberstein Moot Court competition in 2016. After passing the Bar Exam, he practiced social security disability claims and served as a deputy prosecutor in Lewiston, Idaho, handling hundreds of misdemeanor cases, specializing in DUI and Domestic Battery. He has returned to the Rexburg area and provides legal expertise in criminal defense, domestic relations, divorce, disability, probate, estate planning, and immigration. He is proficient in Spanish and is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association.
