About Suryia

Suryia Rahman is an Immigration law, family law, and labor law attorney. After moving to New York in 2013, she began her legal career at Gehi & Associates, representing clients in immigration, family, and labor law matters. She then worked as an Asylum Officer for USCIS and was responsible for adjudicating sensitive asylum claims. She returned to private practice as the principal attorney of Rahman Legal PC. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In her free time, Suryia enjoys cycling and spending time with her family. Education Qualifications: Bachelor in Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
