About T.
Joe limits his practice to personal injury, with special focus on serious injuries and wrongful death. He has been quite successful since his very first trial, when a Hennepin County jury awarded six times what the insurance company had offered. He has won the largest verdict in Minnesota for a shoulder injury ($325,000), and, with Jim Schwebel, the largest award in Minnesota for an ankle injury ($461,000). He recently concluded the largest motorcycle injury settlement in Minnesota, for $1.5 million. Joe not only knows the law, he teaches it, authoring the 'Practice Pointers' column for Minnesota Trial Lawyer Magazine and teaching numerous programs.
