Thomas R. Trout

Thomas R. Trout, a founding shareholder of Trout Law Firm, PLLC, grew up in Charleston, Mississippi. He earned his Bachelors Degree in English from the University of Mississippi in 1971 and his Law Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1974, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He clerked on the Mississippi Supreme Court, served as a public defender, and handled civil litigation. In 1992, he opened his own firm, and in 1994, argued Shannon v.
