Thomas “Tom” Carpenter retired after 57 years in the practice of law. He was a founding member of Grefe & Sidney in 1971. His practice areas included estate planning, probate, business, and tax law, with a focus on small family-owned businesses. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1960.
